HSS Circular saws

AKRA Tecnologia introduces the new high-performance HSS (High Speed Steel) circular saw to the Brazilian metalworking market. Our line of HSS saws is suitable for cutting materials such as 1035/1045/4140 steel, stainless steel, or high-strength steel, where high temperatures are generated in the contact zone during the cutting process.

This new family of saws is the result of extensive research and development by AKRA and its European partners, whose goal was to create a high-performance HSS saw capable of meeting the most stringent quality and performance standards. A saw capable of maintaining high mechanical characteristics, excellent toughness, low brittleness, and low runout.

Everything about this project was thought out and executed with extreme precision. From the selection of raw materials, steel grades, and PVD treatments, every detail was carefully considered and executed to ensure the final result was exactly what we achieved: a saw that will truly revolutionize the metal cutting market in Brazil.

We can confirm and prove that customers who started using our line of HSS saws saw a significant increase in the number of cuts and a reduction in the number of sharpenings. Combining the two situations, we have
results on average 65% higher.
